holytoastrToday is veggie day. I went to pick up the back this morning and it stunk so bad. The old tomatoes must have leaked or something. I need to wash it tonight.
I feel bad not using those tomatoes. I really had plans for them. But I guess I just got too caught up in the excitement of ben being home.
Anyway, this week we get sweet corn, Anaheim stuffing peppers (slightly hot), hot peppers, garden eggs, basil, tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes. There was also the option to request catnip, but as I don't have cats it would be a bit useless. I thought of using it to ward off mosquitos, but seeing as how DEET did NOTHING to help me the other night, I don't think natural remedies would do much better.
Stupid nasty flesh eating bugs. Oh, and an ant somehow bit my finger this morning. So my pinky is on fire and has already started to puss. This is my punishment for being immune to poison ivy, isn't it?
