1 hour of preparation and cooking resulted in 5 minutes of happy boyfriend. It was definitely worth it. :)

I made eggplant pasta. Ben hates eggplant but he liked that. Yay! :D I got the recipe from Good Eats. It is a most fantastic show. The next thing I plan on making is creamed corn. But I think I'll save that for tomorrow night.

Oooh! And ben just brought me dessert! Watermelon roll! So tasty! :)

It is a most tasty dessert (http://www.flickr.com/photos/silverbetty/212716744/) that's only sold in the summer.

It's sherbert that is shaped to look like a watermelon. The pink part is melon flavored sherbert with little bits of chocolate chips for seeds. The skin is lemon flavored. You should always save the skin for last because it refreshes your mouth after all that sweet melon.

When I was little, it was always a super special treat. :D
