holytoastrMore bad dreams last night. And another one about me being in a sinking boat. I've lost count of how many times I've had that dream. The boat never has a leak. Rather the water around the boat rises up and starts pouring in. Also dreamed I was showing my great grandma a "bullshit detector" that I had made to deal with my parents. It looked a lot like a wad of toilet paper. My great grandma laughed and said I was going to need a lot more than that to survive this family and then wished me luck.
Woke up cranky but ben was determined to cheer me up. He's silly like that. Even when I go GRRRR at him, he still does his best to make me happy.
So then we got dressed and went to the front office of our apartment to renew our lease. Except they were closed. So we sat around and I grumped for a bit. Then we tried again. This time it was open and we learned that the rent went up a lot. So we think we are going to look for a new apartment. We have until the end of the month to sign the new lease.
Now I continue to watch ben play prince of persia. It makes me very nervous. But it looks like ben is having fun playing it.
I guess I should start making dinner soon. I want ravioli and homemade sauce, but we have a lot of potato and leek soup leftover from last night so we might just have that instead.
