Tire has gone completely flat. Have called AAA because I am stupidly weak and cannot even change my own tire. I can barely lift the stupid little spare.

Of course this had to happen right before I drive up to NY. :(

At least it didn't happen while you were driving up there.

True, but I kinda wish I didn't have to stress out over this right now. :(

Fair enough. I hope AAA is able to fix it right up for you. Or get you to a place that can. Good luck!

I have a tiny spare that they're going to put on for me. Now I need to figure out where to repair/buy a tire.

I think you should try and get it repaired cause buying one new tire generally isn't a good idea.

It all depends on the hole in the tire, really. If it's repairable, I'll do that. But if I have to buy a new one, I don't have much of a choice.

Well yes, of course. I was more suggesting you try and repair it before anything else, you know?

Since [livejournal.com profile] danithesquirrel has you covered on the tire issue, I'm going to suggest that you work out a bit, here and there.

The average 60-year-old woman can't lift a 10lb grocery bag. You might turn into that, if you're not careful.

Start off with soup cans, building up the muscles in your arms a bit. Exercise never hurt anyone, when done properly.

You don't have to get big muscles (and probably won't, women aren't built for that) but you should at least be able to change your own tire if need be. (AAA might not always be there for you, after all.)

Even the AAA guy had trouble removing the things that hold the tire on. I bought the car new and those things were still tight from the factory. He really had to work to twist them off! (And he does this for a living! So ny~eh!)

I'm only going by what YOU said! Don't get hostile with me. ;)

I was too weak to unscrew anything :P If I had super powers I could do it. I wish I had super powers.

The real problem is that it was parked on an incline.

Ahh, that would certainly add to the problem that was presented from them being brand-spanking new.

Even if I was able to remove the flat tire, the car would fall right over. :P It has happened to me before. The jacks they give you are tiny tiny and not good on hills.

No, hills are never good for changing a flat. Absolutely agreed there.
