Jan. 21st, 2007 08:57 pmDooom...
So no one who runs this apartment complex thought to call someone to plow the snow. Granted, it's not a lot of snow, but after having people drive over it all day it became a rather slippery sheet of ice. My dog and I had fun on the skating rink. :P
Let's hope tomorrow they'll at least spread some sand down or something. Right now there is barely any friction at all. I watched a car come in and slide all over before it managed to navigate into a parking spot. Kinda scary.
Once my dog was done with her walk, I tried to clean the snow off my windows. I'm hoping that will save me some time in the morning. But I must remember to never do that without gloves ever again. My hands burn. T_T
To make it worse, one of my neighbors came to talk to me while my hands were frozen and covered in ice. It's hard to make conversation when you feel like your hand is freezing off.
Yes, I am a wimp when it comes to the snow. :P When is summer?

The weather is really starting to make me anxious...it's been in the high 70s here most of December and a fair chunk of January. I actually had to turn on the A/C the other day because it was 85 degrees in my apartment! A/C! In January! North of the Tropic of Cancer! Doom!
