Today ben and I went to the front office to renew our lease. We had a pleasant surprise! Rather than raising the rent they lowered it! Yay! We're going to save about $300 a month without having to move. :)

To celebrate, ben took me out to panera. He's so sweet. It was like going out on a date!

I am full and sleepy and happy now.

That's about how much they raised it last time. Which is why we wanted to move. But I guess they found out about that.

I suspect they may have found out we were looking to move. Maybe one of the apts we looked at called them to see if we pay our rent on time and stuff like that?

I think they heard we were looking to move and decided they wanted to keep us. Which is pretty cool. :D
