Well, I passed my white belt test! There was absolutely no way to prepare for it. We never even learned most of the stuff we were tested on! But don't think me passing shows some sort of innate talent or anything. Even the little retarded kid passed. This was one of those, "if you try really hard you pass" tests.

Anyway, I can now officially hurt you annoy you with my mighty kicks and punches. If you stand still. And don't fight back. I might even knock you down if you're not paying attention. :P

To reward myself, I bought myself some plants (to replace the ones horrible people killed). I got tomatoes, basil, and rosemary. I considered getting peppermint but really, when am I ever going to need fresh peppermint? I'm going to go put them in pots now before they get too dried out. Then I very badly need a shower.

Yay for plants! Also, good call on the not getting peppermint. It grows like a weed, and is, as you've noted, very rarely called for in any kind of recipes unless you're making a lot of mint ice cream or minty drinks.
Also, congrats on passing your white belt test! :) That's awesome.

my grandma uses hers for making mint sauce to go with porkchops. but I know Melissa's hatred of raw meat. And I actually hate the mint sauce. Bleh.
