holytoastrI started sewing a new shirt last night. Nothing exciting though. I'm using
an old pattern and some dice fabric scraps. None of my patterns really
excite me right now. I don't know if it's because I have nothing exciting to
sew for or if I don't have the right fabric for the patterns. I pulled out
all my fabric and all my non-costume patterns and made a big "meh" at all of
them. But I still need more clothes for work (I only have about 7 days worth
of outfits) so I've got to make something.
I couldn't work on that very long though because my foot was sore. For some
reason the bottom of my heel decided to peel off after my shower last night.
So it's unpleasantly tender there now, especially when standing. I have no
clue what I did to my foot to cause that. It peeled off in big sheets! It
was pretty gross.
I went to bed a little bit after that, where I had a nightmare that ben
broke up with me because he wanted a baby and I didn't. Bleh. When I woke up
though, he was still here so I knew it was just a dream. But I think all the
sadness of the dream took away a lot of my sleep last night. I'm extremely
tired. :(
Unfortunately I can't take a nap when I get home because I have to take care
of a horrible nightmare soap spill. Ben and I bought this huge jug of
laundry soap that's so big and heavy, it has a tap on the side so you don't
have to carry it. Yesterday I noticed that the tap was leaking a little. I
thought I'd stop that by lifting the jug up on it's side. Then the tap is on
the top of the jug and can't leak. However, it seems there was a hole on the
side of the jug. Now that it was on the bottom, it could leak all over the
counter. So what was a tiny annoying tap leak became a huge messy side hole
flood. Soap is all over the counter and all over most of our kitchen
appliances. This is going to be such a nightmare to clean. :(
