holytoastrGrandpa was better this morning. He was a lot more coherent. He's really tired though, so when you're talking to him, he'll suddenly close his eyes and fall asleep.
He says he's not in that much pain, so that's good. And he was feeling well enough to joke this morning which I think made everyone happy. My aunt joy stopped by and asked him how he was doing. He laughed and replied, "Shitty," meaning he didn't make it to his little toilet when he woke up this morning. I'm glad he was able to laugh off something that would have been so horribly embarrassing to me.
The rest of the day has been sitting around trying to stay out of trouble. I brushed all the dog's while sitting with my dad outside, fixed my aunt kara's dress that was falling apart, played some video games, talked to ben on the phone, and took a short nap with my dog.
It's raining now, which is good because it is cooling everything off. My grandpa is sleeping in my old room, which also happens to be the hottest room in the house.
It's going to be really sad leaving tomorrow. It's not just going to be goodbye. It's going to be goodbye forever.
