holytoastrI went to a nanowrimo meetup tonight after stalling for many hours. I get so scared meeting new people. Turns out it wasn't as bad as I had feared. And oddly enough, the people who were there were the group of people I always saw at panera during knitting nights. They weren't knitting, they were a different group that always looked like they were having more fun than I was. I had been a bit jealous of them. But now I get to meet them. So we'll see if they are as interesting as they seem.
I got about 1,000 words done in the hour I was there. Had I not started over this afternoon, that would be impressive. But I hated my story and started over so I'm only at a grand total of about 1,500 words.
It's a good thing I have the weekend to catch up, right?
