Be careful what you wish for. I was bored and was wishing the day wouldn't
feel so slow. Then I got a very angry phone call from the exec vp of
membership demanding to know why his changes were not made to a series of
letters. I explained that Program had rejected his edits on account that
they are factually incorrect. That wasn't a good enough answer for him
though. He was still angry and didn't think that was a very good answer. I
didn't have another answer for him though! All I could do was tell him the
truth!
So I repeated what I told him and explained specifically why it was
factually incorrect and who had told me to add it to the list of "banned
things to say" in the first place. He still sounded angry, but he at least
hung up.
I wonder if he'll call the person in Program that took away his edit. She's
a scary person too, and yelled at me about his edit in the first place. So
I'm stuck between two scary people in this battle.
I'm going to stop wishing for exciting things now because that was far too
much scary excitement.
