holytoastrI accomplished things today.
In the morning, I cleaned some of my sewing room (it's almost usable!) and did some laundry (yay for clean underwear!).
Then I showered and had ben trim my hair. Hopefully that solves the split end problem.
After that, we went to home depot together to gather supplies for my various weekend projects. Unfortunately we forgot to buy a drill bit so I had to go back to the store on my own.
I dropped ben home and then took my dog to the pet store. She was a complete drama queen while the groomer cut her nails. Then she snubbed the cashier who tried to give her a cookie. She's such a brat. But at least now she can't slice up my arms with her claws.
I was pretty cranky after all my shopping was done, so I made myself a big salad for dinner. Food definitely improved my mood.
I tried to build my hairpin loom, but the drill needs charging. I will finish it tomorrow. Then I want to practice the basic stitch before my fancy yarn comes in. (I am making this dress.)
Since the drill is useless, I prepared some newspaper cups so I can start my lettuce seeds tomorrow. They are currently soaking between a sheet of damp paper towel which I hope is the right way to wake them up. Tomorrow they will go in the dirt.
I think I might go to bed soon even though it's early. We're supposed to have the verizon people coming over to set up fios. Then we're going to cancel our very very expensive cable. But I need to clean a little before they show up. There is a pile of trash bags near the door that need to go out.
