Well, we couldn't get the new modem installed last night. Standing on a roof in the middle of a thunderstorm is a less than intelligent activity. So we have to wait another day. *sigh*

Because of the storm, I couldn't go on the comp either. So I watched Shrek. I like that movie. It's cute!

Then I did some more painting until it was too dark in that corner to see properly. So I got my books from the library and copied many many things out of them. From that I learned I cannot copy a diagram if I was about to be run over by stampeding hippos and my only way to escape was to copy a diagram out of a book. (I guess it's a good thing there are no hippos around here. Though with all the rain last night....You never know...)

I watched a little bit of tv. It actually surprised me. I figured with all the insane patriotism and stuff, there would be more about D-Day than there actually was. I even told my mom yesterday morning that it was D-Day, and she was all, "So?"

My mother!!! The one that goes to bed in American Flag PJs!!!!! She watches every 911 tv special like a religion. She had flags everywhere in the house until I took them down. She got mad but I told her it offended me. (I think she thinks I'm a communist. Because I was saying it would be fun if we split the stationary show up between communists and capitalists. And then shot each other with paint balls.)

Erm..Where was I? I forget... Anyway, I can't go anywhere today. Mom's car is in the shop. So she took mine. That means I ahve no plans for the day whatsoever. I'm going to get insanely bored, won't I...?

Hmmm....I'm looking at these websites and I really wish I could read japanese. The problem with an anime addiction is that it all comes from a country that for some silly reason DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!!

Well, I'm taking that class next semester. But they're not going to be teaching me anything useful. It will be silly stuff like how to say my name or count or ask to go to the bathroom. They'll tell me nothing about epic battles and long lost loves and giant robots!

*giggle* This website wrote "flame" when they obviously meant "frame." That is so cute.

Eeeek! My tummy just rumbled really loud! I must be hungry! I didn't realize!!!! Daddy bought me cereal the other day. However, he didn't buy MILK! So I couldn't ahve my super-chocolately-super-sugary-part-of-a-complete-breakfast cereal. *pout* But I can have it today! Yay!!!!

I guess I'll play with this site later. I need food!!!

All done eating!!!

I wandered around the house and closed windows. It still hasn't stopped raining and it's REALLY cold out!

Now I want to look some stuff up. I thought up this story this morning, but I don't think it would work as a regular written story. It's too visual. Bleh...So now I need to find another way. Something that will be shiny enough for all the stuff running through my brain.

Ever have one of those days when it seems like the entire world is speaking another language? Grrrr... I've been ehre before, but I can't remember what picture does what. I guess I'll just have to click and wander around until I find what I'm looking for.

Mmmm...Mom bought me cherries. I had them for lunch. I was also watching Sailor Moon at the time. So I was half distracted by the sticky cherry mess I was making. Now my fingers are all slightly darker from all the juice.

Anyway, Sailor Moon!

Todays ep was Computer School Blues. I checked and did you know that the english dub for the first 2 seasons uses the formula title "[sombething] Blues" 3 times? Yup. And they have an ep Called "An Uncharmed Life" in one season, followed by "A Charmed Life" in teh next season. Ok, maybe I ahve a bit too much time on my hands... ^^;;;

The japanese title was "Is the genius girl a youma? The brain washing cram school." The dub took a completely different appraoch to the cram school thing. They made it into a computer school, and as a result, had so change plots and personalities around a bit.

And dubbers are just dumb. At one point, a character shouts "She had over 100,000,000 points!!!" (Ok, that number might be off. I was writing kinda fast.) In fact, her score was 6,850.

Let's see...what else did I notice....? Oh yeah! They changed Luna's password and the disguise Sailor Moon used!!!! Let me go steal the changed conversations from somewhere, cause I didn't write it down.

JAPANESE VERSION
Luna: This is Luna. Code name 0091. The password is the rabbit of the moon has some mochi.
game: The mochi of the moon is sticky.
Luna: It expanded when I cooked it.

ENGLISH VERSION
Luna: This is Luna. I'm checking in for my new instructions.
game: What is your password?
Luna: I love tunafish and fieldmouse pudding.

Ok, and that was too much effort. So I'll just tell you the costume change. In teh original, she disguises herself as a nurse. In america, she's a school superattendent. The change was completely unnecessary!!!!!! Grrrr....

There were more msitakes, but I'm too lazy to type it all. They froze a lot of scenes...Cut some stuff out too.

I belive the hamster show is finally losing it's cuteness. When all of it's cuteness is worn away, only I shall remain. To point and laugh at it. :D

Forgot to mention, I got some of my books delivered today! All of them except for Coraline. And I've already finished 2 and started reading the last one.

I'd forgotten that I'd labeled the books to be delivered to "Her Supreme Highness" but I guess it's ok. It amused me very much! And I knew what it was emediately!!!!

I like getting mail! >^^
