Mar. 16th, 2003 02:04 pm*stress 'splody* Too much organizing! Eeeeek!!!
Right, so Laura is here. Took her to St Patrick's Day Parade. I got kissed by many short drunk "irish" guys who gve me flowers and beads and bracelets and stuff. And we got cabbages. So many cabbages. What are we going to do with them all?
Afterwards, went to Frostop for a snack. Then sat around until we went out to eat at St Charles Tavern. I'm so glad laura gets along so well with my friends. Was worried she might not like them or something. Perhaps she's doing what i do when I visit though. A few of her friends I like, but most of them I jsut tolerate. Well, at least she doesn't outright hate them. And that's what's important.
Oh, and St Charles Tavern changed their french fries. They are yummy and happy. And I know they are happy because I am a food psychic. One day i will ahve a tv show on the food network. Wheeee!
The plan after eating was to go to the Quarter. But instead, we stayed in and watched anime. There were too many drunken frat boys out. I didn't want to deal with them.
This morning, woke up early and made breakfast. Got all stressed by it. Cause I wasn't getting everything done in time. People helping was greatly appreciated. GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! :)
I think I'm going to hve to take awy laura's comp privledges. Cause she keeps getting distracted by the comp. She's on vacation visitjng me. I can't help but be a little resentful that she'd rather talk to her friends back at school rahter than talk with me. Maybe I'm just being silly and irrational again. I do that sometimes.
Hopefully I can get her out in time to go to the Quarter today. I want to get there before the French Market closes. Maybe if I'm almot ready, it will inspire her! I'll go do that now! Whooosh!
