I'm on the old computer. It's supposed to be fixed. The sound doesn't work though. And it has mom's settings on it which means everything is ABSOLUTELY HUGE!!!!! I feel like I should sit across the room to use it, but the mouse doesn't reach that far.

Rather than deal with frustrating computers last night, I finally sat down to read A Gift of Dragons, by Anne McCaffrey. I had read the first three stories before in other collections. This time, however, they were illustrated. That was spiffy. The last story was new. It was pretty god in the self-indulgent Mary Sue kind of way. You knew from the start that the twins would both impress dragons. You could even guess that they's get a gold and bronze. All the stories run like that, but they're still fun to read. The trick is, there are so many personality types in the books, you're sure to find a character like you. That's where the Mary Sue part comes in, as it's like you're reading yourself into the story. Goofy fun all in all.

Then I watched some tv. It was attack of the cheesy vampire movies. I'm not joking. Every channel had some sort of old cheesy vampire movie on. I really can't watch most movies multiple times, so I gave up. Sleep is niiiiiiiice.

This morning I woke up, ate breakfast, cleaned out the bird's cages, and showered. I'm supposed to clean more today. That's why I'm here. I'm hiding. :)

Dad and my brother went fishing this morning. They caught stuff, but they let the fish go. I approve. I feel bad for the fishes. But then again, I feel bad for all animals that get eaten. ^^;
Bubble tea? New Orleans? In the Quarter? *perks up* And even free anime?

Oh, but I can't go... I'm here. *pouty face* At least they should still ahve the tea when I get back there.

There is nothing more frustrating than trying to use a computer that crashes when more than one ie window is open. *sigh* Oh well, must get back to clenaing. I must not be tempted by my sewing machine. I am thinking of experimenting with t-shirt surgery. Since I'm so small, none of my shirts fit. If I can, uh, modify them, then I would be a happy well dressed little girl.

I've got tons of old stained shirts to experiment with. *must not give into temptation*
*twitch* My mom has made me clean all day. I would have had to vacuum too if the vacuum hadn't mysteriously broke. (Thank you mystery sabatour!) So now I'm tired and hot and dirty. Not a happy melissa combo.

I managed to escape for about 15 minutes to get back to work on kelly's pants. I occured to me that since I was sending the apartment gift, I might as well send the pants too. So, I finished up the waist band and took a look at the snaps. All looks easy. I seriously hope it fits. I'd feel more comfortable if I had been able to compare against a real person while I worked on it. I have this terrible feeling that the hips will be too small. *sob*

I guess when I send it, I'll send an apology letter alongside.

Just watched 6 eps of PitaTen. Still amazingly cute. I am amused by sasha's bishounen chasing. >^^<

The show inspires me to make cute things. I want to make cute lunches and adorable outfits. Someone please stop me. I forsee great danger in any effort I make towards such cuteness.

I want a bento box...
