Random lyrics as the subject entertains me.

Yesterday when I went shopping, I thought I was going to fall over. The combination of mental and physical abuse over the past couple of week plus the lack of regular use of my bike lead to a VERY bad idea. I was so so SO tired before I even got off campus.

On the way to the store I saw the roman candy guy. I love that stuff. So terribly sticky. I checked my purse but only had enough for one stick. *pouty face* So I did a good deed for once, building up some kharma points, and bought a stick for my brother. I'll mail it home with my mom's cell phone, and include a congrats for getting into college letter. There, I can be a somewhat decent person sometimes.

Then I finished my trek to the store to buy key party supplies. Chris was nice enough to help me carry my bag up to my room (since I was close to passing out) and he even offered to drive megan and I to rockethouse. Ariana was supposed to come too, but she was very very busy.

We watched The Triplets of Belleville. I wasn't quite sure what to expect of it, because the reviews for and gainst were half and half. It was either going to be very good or very painful. But it turned out to be really good. I'm glad I'd seen it. I was a little frightened by the fact that it was french, but it turns out there was so little talking that I understood what was going on almost perfectly. And it was funny. A strange subtle type of humor that hit you in the head at the same time. The frog fishing scene comes to mind.

At first, though, I was turned off by the art style. But as the movie progressed, I realized that the style was perfect for that film. It was as absurd as the film itself, lending to each other. Oh, and I loved the dog. All worship the dog. The old lady was spiffy too, but no where as cool as that dog.

Heh ^^; So after that, I went home to bake. That took HOURS! First, I made cheesecake since that had to be baked and would take the longest. Then I made dinner since I had to be in the kitchen anyway. Afterwards, I began the great rice crispy treats challenge. I had to make 2 trays, but the pot was only big enough for one. And with marshmallows, you can't keep the heat on too high or they burn. So it took FOREVER!

I type too much. )
Guy: Does this door open?
Me: *blinks* Sorry?
Guy: The sign says this door doesn't open.
Me: *looks at open door* *looks at sign saying "B-side door does not open"* *Looks at other sign saying "Building A" Yes, this door opens. But the other door doesn't. I'm sorry.
Guy: Thank you.

So, um.... Is it just me or does the IQ of the residents drop a little bit more each day? Well, at least he was polite. If he had been rude about it, I may have had to shove a pen in his ear.
These are some amazing chalk drawings. Really, go check them out. Wow.
