The baseball game wasn't too bad. It was minor league, so the stadium was pretty small. I could actually see the players. Long Island Ducks, the home team, won the game.

Afterwards, we went to aunt joy's where I developed the headache of doom. I really can't handle children. Her children. I was twitching within the first hour.

We had dinner there. I had french fries and fruit. Dinner was almost entirely meat. Bah. I was given the lecture that I need meat in order to survive. I corrected them, pointing out I needed protein, not necessarily meat. And taht I can gain protein from various sources. I do not need red meat in my diet.

So yeah, fun time with the family as usual. ^^;

Eventually I got to escape home where I baked muffins. I don't particularly like this type of muffins, so I had to have my brother taste them the tell me if they were good or not.

And wow, I am way more tired than I should be....

This afternoon, I brought all the empty bottles in the garage to the store for the deposits. Got $3.30 for it. Would ahve gotten more, but the machine wouldn't accept miller bottles. I told daddy to swtich to a different brand.

I used my vast wealth to go to maces and pick up more sewing machine needles. Unfortunately I wandered into the toy aisle while I was waiting for the song I liked to end. I saw a Card Captor Sakura board game. I told myself not to buy it. As I was reaching for the box I continued to tell myself to leave it alone. Walking to the register I told myself to put it back. *sigh* I need willpower. Well, at least it was only maces so the total was $4.34. ^^; High spender I am.

Came home and did some laundry. Goofed off on the computer for a while. General lazy goodness.

Then daddy asked me to go pick up chinese food with him. Ok, that seems innocent enough. While he was ordering food, I wandered over to the comic book store and picked up Fables #27. Then came back to the chinese food place to wait with daddy for food.

It was then that he decided to have a talk with me. You see, I am trying to get ben to come visit me. Daddy said that if he does, he wants "no fooling around" while ben is here. I was pretty clueless for most of the conversation because my daddy can be more vague than I can be. Eventually he sais, "no fooling around in taht way" which somehow managed to flick a switch in my brain to get what he was saying. I assured him I was a good girl and that he had no reason to worry. He then reminded me taht boys were evil.

It was a rather awkward conversation, to put it mildly.

After dinner I started reading Starship Troopers again. This time I didn't fall asleep. As I progress through the book, the gap between the novel and the movie becomes wider and wider. The connections between the two ahve been reduced to character names. Very strange.
