Ben and I figured out why my root canal tooth was hurting so much. With my mouth open all the time to avoid biting my wisdom tooth, cold air was coming into my mouth. And the whole area of my root canal tooth is sensitive to cold! So now I'm trying to keep my teeth apart but my lips closed. I hope that will help. But with my mouth closed, I clench my teeth more often without realizing it. And that's bad for all my teeth. So I really need to pay attention to what I'm doing.

The wisdom tooth is getting better, I think. The only part that hurts now is the side rubbing against my cheek. I'm thinking of maybe putting a cotton ball soaked in numb stuff there to keep the tooth and cheek from rubbing together. Then maybe they will heal and this awful pain will go away.
My dog seems very upset and clingy today. I think she's jealous of the bird. So I'm trying to give her some extra attention. That way she won't feel so left out.

Of course that means the bird is demanding to know why I haven't taken it out of its cage yet. :P Making sad little rejected chirps at me.

Both of them are going to be very sad after I eat breakfast. I'm going to go to the library book sale today. I'm thinking of walking, so it'll probably take me a long time. But the library isn't insanely far, so I want to try to save the gas. The exercise is good for me anyway.

Maybe I should also look into getting a bike. I remember having one in new orleans. It opened the city up to me. Before that, I only knew places that were within a 30 minute walk at most. The problem here would be biking with hills. I can't make it up. But maybe with practice?
Walking to the library was a good idea. My legs feel all invigorated. And the walk was really short too! I think it just always seemed so far away because the stoplights and everything made the car rides take so long. Maybe I should walk around more often.

I got two books at the book sale. Nothing exciting though. One is a book about cooking veggies called "Almost Vegetarian." I got it thinking it might be useful when our farm things starts and we need some inspiration. The other book is about calligraphy and illumination called "Borders for Calligraphy." Other than that, there wasn't anything that caught my eye.

On the way back I was really in the mood for bubble tea. I wish they sold it around here. Not that I could enjoy it with my stupid tooth....

Oh! And as I was walking, I had the theme to super mario brothers stuck in my head. I ended up walking passed some mushrooms growing and I couldn't help but laugh. I wonder, if I had picked them up, would I have grown bigger?
