In most areas I've lived, when two people are walking head-on towards each
other, they will each step slightly out of the way to avoid collision. Not
so in virginia.

This morning I watched as two men walk directly into each other because the
other would not move out of their way. Obviously they were both very
important people...

After they smashed into each other, they puffed up their chests like apes
and started yelling things at each other like, "Don't fucking push me!" and
"Hey man, watch where you're going!" and "Get the fuck out of my face!" Then
they did actually start pushing each other, and would have slammed into me
had I not quickly stepped out of the way.

I decided then to get out of there, but saw Metro security leisurely making
their way over to the situation.
The maintenance guy at our apartment today told me that people have complained twice about my dog running around without a leash. This is the first time I've ever heard of such a complaint, so I'm not sure I should believe him.

My dog is adorable and rarely causes trouble, so I can't imagine what they would complain about. She knows not to chase people unless they call her and I always clean up after her. What sort of complaint could they possibly make about a dog frolicking in the grass?
