- Drivers who rev their engines in the parking lot do not look cool, no matter how much they think they do.

- I hate my new partner in the world ends with you. He is very annoying.

- Ben bought me more skyr. It delights me because it is actually a dairy product I can eat. In theory I can eat regular yogurt, but it doesn't work out for me in practice. (And please don't suggest soy yogurt. I tried that. It tasted like the world was ending and all our gods had abandoned us.)

- Saw a crazy man get arrested this morning while walking to work.

- I feel like a bad girlfriend because I need a ride to the airport the same weekend ben wants to go to a con. I know I shouldn't feel bad though, because he decided he wanted to go after I bought my tickets. So there was no way for me to have avoided this situation.

- The weather has been cold and rainy for days, which is bad for me but good for my lettuce. And well, good for everything else too. I read that we didn't get enough rain/snow this winter, so farmers are starting the growing season off at near drought levels already. I would like a good growing season so I don't have to buy my produce from california and chile.

- How is it only wednesday?

- Is it worth leaving early today to laugh at the conservative teabaggers?
I TRIUMPH OVER PUBLICATIONS!!! YES!

Finally got them to understand why the N in Northern Rockies must be capitalized.
- My dog does not like getting her feet wet. It's funny watching her try to avoid all the wet spots outside. (She did not succeed.)

- She saw a big dog frolicking around and got so scared, she peed on the sidewalk.

- I discovered the hard way that the button to open my new umbrella also closes the umbrella. I'm glad no one was around to see that.
Today was an intensely stressful day at work. Pubs has been doing everything in their power to make me crazy. It's so frustrating when I try to work and compromise with them and they just go off and do what they want to do anyway. I am not going to have kind words for them when this project is over and we recap.

In an attempt to stay sane, I laughed at dc's conservative teabaggers. Whoever organized the protest in this city was a total amateur. DC's police kept stopping them at each place they went because they lacked the proper permits. They ended up corralled in the little park by the white house. And they even got kicked out of that place when some genius threw a box of tea bags over the white house fence.

Any idiot can imagine what happens when there is a strange box on the lawn of the white house.

I hope they all got some of the anger out of their system at least. Better to have angry people protesting than have them joining hate groups. (Which, by the way, are seeing record recruitment numbers this year according to a dhs report.)

And I enjoyed laughing at them. Which made me feel a little better too.

It also made me really respect the people that set up the gay marriage protest that ben and I went to. That was really well organized. True, we couldn't hear what any of the organizers said, but at least we didn't get kicked out. In fact, the police were super nice to us, closing down streets and halting traffic for us as we marched. (And we of course then thanked the police officers for being so helpful and not tasing us or anything.)

And when we got to the park by the white house, no one threw anything onto the lawn. Cause that would just be stupid.

I guess I should go to bed now. Although I don't want to because then tomorrow comes and I have to deal with pubs again. They nearly made me cry today. I'm not sure I will be able to handle them tomorrow.
