Just finished reading one of the latest Discworld books, Making Money.

Moist von Lipwig is a relatively new character, introduced in Going Postal. I really like his stories, probably because they are refreshingly new from the usual gangs. (Witches, Wizards, Watch, etc.)

I don't think making money was as strong as going postal, but it was still pretty good. The first half, better than the last half. However, there were not nearly enough footnotes. That was disappointing.

I think the next book I'll start is In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto. I've been reading a lot of fiction lately, so it might be good to mix in some real world stuff.
I hope I have a bus today.

For the last two days, there has been a major accident on the road leading to the bus station. All of the buses were delayed. It was creepy walking out of the train station and seeing no buses at all. Normally the bus station is always busy.

Yesterday a woman tried to bully a bus into existence. She asked one of the bus employees where all the buses were. He explained that because of a big accident, all the buses were delayed in traffic. She replied, "But look at all these people waiting! Send another bus!" The guy explained again that all the buses were stuck in traffic, but on their way. She demanded again that they send another bus.

The lady could not understand at all that any extra buses would still have to get through all that traffic. Maybe she wanted a magic bus. That can fly.
Scary!

While I was waiting for my dog to pee this afternoon, I heard a loud wood cracking, leaf rustling noise. I looked up just in time to see a very large branch about to hit me in the head!

I jumped out of the way just in time. Only got brushed with some of the leaves on the branch.

Ben says it's possible that the trees are trying to kill me.
