(no subject)

Plans to go to mount vernon yesterday were canceled, so ben and I went to the herndon festival instead. We didn't stay for very long though because ben was hot. He was flying through the crowds, If I stopped for a second to look ah anything, he was gone. The boy needs to realize that moving slowly is the key to staying cool in hot weather. Not dashing around working up a sweat.

After that, we went to the mall because ben wanted to buy shorts, but when we got there he didn't want to buy shorts. He makes me crazy sometimes.

When we got home, I worried more about how I have to email my mom and tell her to butt out. Combined with ben ignoring me and canceled plans all this weekend and a general dissatisfaction with a lot of things, I went to the bedroom to cry. Noname was the only one to notice, so I love her extra. She is a good girl that lets me use her as a tissue.

Today was no better. My bus was late this morning. Then when I got to the train station, the orange line was down. I waited half an hour before I could squeeze into a crowded train. At least work is very forgiving for metro delays.

*sigh* I guess I should get started trying to write that letter to my mom. Ben is going to help me once I have a draft. I wish I could just stab her in the eyes.

Plan of action

I want to mail my invitations by the first week of July.

Plan A: Attempt to print own invitations

Hopefully my printer can handle the paper. Hopefully if I give the ink enough time to dry, it won't smear.

Star that was to be punched up on front of invitation can be punched out (So that silver inside paper can be seen through dark blue outside paper) or stamped with glitter.

Plan B: Find a printer that can print my invitations

Find a local printer that has the machines to print on the paper I bought.

Star can still be stamped myself.

Plan C: Buy new invitations

Find a simple, inexpensive design and roll with it.
