Perfect breakfast: Cantaloupe so ripe and juicy, it drips down your face.

There is a noname cuddled in my lap

It has been a good morning so far. I woke up early and enjoyed a tasty breakfast. Then went to the farmer's market.

The honey lady finally came back! I guess they had to wait until the bees had made enough honey to sell. I bought orchard honey, which is a mix of apple and berry orchards. It's got a lighter sweet taste to it.

I also bought corn. And meant to buy peaches but got distracted while comparing prices. I'm so dumb.

After that, I once again broke my "no new books" rule and wandered into the used book store. At least I'm supporting a local business, right? And I only bought one book: Day of the Triffids.

When I came home, ben was still sleeping so I curled up with him until he woke up to cuddle me. He is the best boyfriend ever.

Not sure what I'll do with the rest of my day, but in the evening I plan on making roast corn and veggie kabobs.

Happy 4th of July!

As a treat for the 4th of July, I let Noname enjoy some corn! She was so happy.

Disclaimer: Always be careful letting your dog eat corn. The cob can make them very sick.
