House situation continues to get stupid as Bank of America tries to squeeze more money out. Now they want an extra $8,000 from the sellers. I am beginning to suspect that BoA doesn't actually want to sell a house to us. I have no other explanation for all the nonsense they are putting us through.

I reached stress critical mass at that point, and powered by pure panic, I finally was able to call the home owner insurance company and tell them the closing date never happened and to stop asking us for money. It ended up being a really easy call. The lady on the phone was super nice, which made the whole thing a lot easier to deal with. So when I was done, I was shaking but had no nausea.

The office was full of madness in the office because accounting asked us for cost allocation info for our C3 mailings. Due Wednesday. It's a lot of work on top of all the work we already have. But luckily for me, I'm really good at it. I do it all the time for our C4 mailings. So I finished all my mailings super fast. Then I offered to help the director with his, which cause him to profess his love for me. When I was just about done with those, I offered to help one of my other coworkers. She also professed her love for me.

You know who I'm not offering my help to? Incompetent coworker. She's on her own.

Going home was difficult due to the time change. No one thought to turn on the lights at the bus station. And then I had a hard time finding my stop in the dark. It's going to be a long long winter.

After work, ben and I went to costco. I go through giant boxes of cereal way too fast. I tried to find a coat there, but they only had large and extra large sizes. Everything costco sells is big, even the clothes....

But we stopped for burritos on the way home and there was a shoe store next door so at least I have winter boots now. Yay! The pair I bought was almost identical to the pair I bought a couple years ago. Only difference is that they fixed the tongue so it doesn't slide to the side and let cold air in. I feel a little silly buying nearly the same shoes as before, but they were really good shoes until the snowpocalypse. Last winter they started to crack and ice water would leak in. It was sad. Hopefully there won't be any more crazy storms and I can get a good couple years out of this pair too.
If I have a house, my parents are coming down for thanksgiving dinner. If I don't have a house, I will be having dinner with friends. Either way, there will be cooking. I am collecting ideas for tasty things to make.

Ideas so far:
- Rainbow cheesecake
- Maple and bacon brussel sprouts
- Apple cranberry chutney
