Help me internet!
Jun. 1st, 2010 09:36 pmI want to make strawberry cheesecake.
NOT cheesecake with strawberries on top. NOT cheesecake with strawberry swirls in it.
It should be uniformly pink all the way through and have no nasty gooey strawberry topping.
I can't find any recipes like that! Does anyone one of one?

Date: 2010-06-02 03:33 am (UTC)Hmm...but then you have to account for the extra liquid...
hmm okay this isn't exactly what you asked for, but I think you can tweak it to suit your needs: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1813,152175-241193,00.html
unfortunately any other recipes I can find at the moment call for strawberry marbling or glaze...I'll keep searching if you want however I do have 234 cookbooks and 40 recipe sites...

Date: 2010-06-02 01:52 pm (UTC)I can't remember the last time a recipe from cooks.com has worked well for me, but this one might work. I see they added extra flour. I bet that's to compensate for the extra liquid. I think I'll skip the flavoring and food coloring though. My strawberries are super sweet and fresh, so I don't think I need artificial extras.
Thanks! No need to keep searching! I will see how this works!

Date: 2010-06-02 03:56 pm (UTC)Cooks.com needs a better review/comment system. I think that's their big problem. No good way of warning people that the recipe is a disaster.
