holytoastrI'm feeling better now. I've either calmed down, or this lollipop has magical powers.
I'm going for the lollipop theory.
It doesn't even have a flavor to it! It's PURE SUGAR!!! Well, there's a little food dye in it too. It's called a "Princess Wand" and I got it from the stationary show.
There was this booth from japan (I think) with this new line of stationary. It was Princess Ruby and Princess Saphire and they were just SO CUTE!!!!! I took one of the catalogues so that I could cut out the princess' and stick them to my walls. >^^<
Anyway, they had these lollipops to give away to people interested with their stuff because it had their booth number on them to remind people to come back. Most companies have a little thing with the booth number to draw people back. That's where I get most of my free stuff from!
The problem for these sales reps working at the booth was that no one had prepped them about doing a ny show. That's a BIG problem because horrible people like me will take advantage of this. I didn't even have to steal the candy when they weren't looking. I jsut asked them.
They didn't want to say no. *giggle* It was so obvious that I wasn't going to buy anything, but they weren't trained to tell me to get lost. So now I ahve yummy sugar filled lollipops! Yay!
So I'm on a slight sugar high right now. I just went through my entire closet and pulled out all my costume stuff. I sorted into "stuff that I can use" and "stuff that scares me." I even thought up a few good things for some of the stuff I am keeping!
I also learned how to make a perfect bow! I took out this book from the library that has a lot of costume techniques in it. It makes me very happy. I've been going through it and copying down many good things! Theres a few illustrations I want, so I guess I'm going to ahve to go down to the library when I'm done and make photocopies. Normally I'd get them done at my moms shop, but that's too far a drive.
I mailed a letter today. I had such issues finding a sticker to put on the back. I'd found a most perfect one! A pink hippo! But it wouldn't stick! I was wandering around the house shouting, "My hippo isn't sticky!! Why won't my hippo stick!?" Finally I found another sticker I liked and all was good. The letter is now in the mailbox waiting for the postman to arrive and wisk it away to its destination.
And now I ahve a shiny Sailor Moon page to look at, so I'll go do that! Oooh! Shiny!
