holytoastrI think the nutella meringues were a success! They are mighty ugly, so I didn't take pictures, but I tasted one this morning and mmmmmmm.
I was surprised how easy they were! I was under the impression that they were very hard. But my mixer did most of the work. I think I'll make them again in the near future to practice making them look pretty. If I can get them to look less horrific, these could be one of my common recipes.
I even saw photos of mushroom meringues! They looked so cute! I need to get the proper icing tip and then I can try to make those!
Between these and ice cream, would it be silly to buy one of those egg separator tools? It probably is. After all, I'm pretty good at separating the eggs with my hands already. And the tool would be a unitasker....
