holytoastrWow, I can belive the eps go by this fast! Somehow, watching an entire season at once makes it seem to go by a lot slower.
Anyway, today we saw the last of Jadeite in "Fight to the Finish." You could kinda tell it was coming from the title, but the orginal title is much more obvious. "The girls are in unison! The end of Jadeite."
They changed a large chunk of dialoge today. The orginal speech Jadeite makes is all about how girls can't fight and they need a mens help. The dub changes it to the usual hero fluff. Here's how it originally went:
Jadeite: Your trusty Tuxedo Mask is dead. Cry! Scream! That's all shallow-minded women like you can do without a man's help!
Sailor Mars: These days, only old men talk about men being better than women.
Sailor Mercury: That's right! To discriminate against women is a vestige of the feudal age.
Sailor Moon: I'm opposed to sex discrimination!
All Three Girls: We'll show you what women can do Jadeite!
I have not clue why they changed that. Seems pretty weird to me! *shrugs*
As for the inside jokes, I didn't catch this, but Castle in the Sky says that Ami's visor has another Robocop joke on it. It says "Arrest Mode" in the lower corner. I'm going to have to watch the ep again to catch that!
Oh, and I meant to mention this a while ago and forgot, but Jadeite's death made me remember! All the General's are named after different types of Jade. I think that's pretty cool!
