(Part 1)New updated fully awake recount of my day! Woohoo!

Woke up kinda late from staying up late the night before. Then I had to run over to the post office and pick up my package before it clsoed!

It had all my birthday gifts in it! Yay! I have a phone! It's a really scary phone...with m&m's on it, but its a phone!

Took me forever to get it working. I needed a screw driver, but I couldn't find one. Finally I got it open with a pocketknife. I'm not sure how to make it work now, but at least it has batteries and it's plugged in and such. I should call someone and try it out.

Then I went over Greg's so that we could all get ready for parades. (He also invited me to a party at the Crow Bar! Whee!!!) We saw Proteus and Orpheus.

Proteus wasn't very good and didn't give away much at all. But Orpheus was very pretty!!!! It was all lights and shiny and pretty! I got some beads, not much, cause there were quite a few people there.

Lets see.....50 beads, 6 medallions (including a lobster one!), 3 coins, and 3 cups. Ok, amybe I did get a lot. But I actually only caught about 6 of those items. I got so many medallions because some guy on a float threw Greg a whole bag. Keep in mind that getting a whole bag means the person on the float really likes you. (Jen gets a lot of bags.) Hehe! Greg didn't know if he should be honored or perturbed.

Orpheus had HUGE floats! They were easily 4 or 5 cars long! And they were trains and dragons and all sorts od nifty things! But because they are so long, they get stuck really easily. So the parade kept stopping. They couldn't make it around corners very well. ^^;

Then we got dinner. It was at Burger King, so we all got crowns to wear! Whee! (I have a picture of this, but no one is seeing it. It's kinda embarrassing.)

Then we walked back to campus very very hyper and silly. Kelly found a police warning flag thingie. She tied it around her waist. One side said "Danger ahead" and the other said "Be careful." No, she didn't look drunk or anything...

So the group of us are wandering back on campus singing monty python songs, with bk crowns and beads and flags all over everyone. The scary thing was every one of us were completely sober.

Then we went back to Patterson to get dressed for the Lundi Gras party at the Crow Bar.

EEEk!!!! Scabble party! I'll finish later!!!

Ok, back! It's about 1:30 now. So I guess this is part 1...I'll make a part 2 tomorrow!
