holytoastrYarrr!!!! It be Talk Like A Pirate Day!!!!
Cheddar goldfish crackers and hot chocolate do not mix. Ewwww....
I finished all the homework I brought with me. Now what? I can't look at
anything shiny cause the internet is dead!!! *sniffle*
I napped this afternoon. It was nice. And smart. I'm not as tired as I usually
am at this time. It also helps that I didn't go to sleep rght before work.
Instead I went on a mighty ice cream quest!
Mmmm...Ice Cream... The only problem is that my fridge has a very tiny freezer
that can't hold ice cream. I was about to give up on my ice cream quest when
greg said I could put whatever I don't finish in his freezer. So wheee! I had
ice cream!
Because I'm a silly person, I asked around to see if anyone else needed
anything while I was getting ice cream goodness. Jenn wanted mustard and greg
wanted ice cream. So I went out and boght all the foody stuff. Then I walked
over to gregs to eat my ice cream and stick the leftovers in his freezer.
We watched junkyard wars. I had never actually sat through a whole ep before.
It was strange. I really thought the firemen were going to win. But the tikki
people won! I don't know how that happened! For the first 4 hours they
basically sat around and complained about not finding the parts they needed.
They had paintball spears!!!
Somehow they won. My universe does not accept that. But I really want a
paintball spear! It would be fun! 8poke*
I ended up reading a short story from somebook that gregs going to write a
paper on. I can't remember what it was called, but it was about this guy who is
basically the last man on earth. Vampires have taken over and are all after
him. During the day he tries to find ways to kill them. They made a movie about
it with Heston in it. ^^;
Anyway, it was a really good book and I couldn't stop myself from reading it!!!
I was sitting on the bed jsut reading and reading and reading and I couldn't
stop myself!!! It got pretty pathetic. While greg was getting changed, I was
standing out in the hall STILL READING competely oblivious to the world.
The ending of the story made me sad. I wanted a happy ending!!! Grrr.....
Around 1:30, he went off to get ready for his radio show and I got to go home
and shower! Wheee! Clean!!! I very quietly dropped off the mustard in the other
room. I hope they didn't think I got lost!
Then I got ready for work, with the radio on. The show is amusing. Tonight it
was random cause the cd machine broke. They had to use records! That meant no
pirate songs. *sniffle* But he did play Man of la Mancha! I was talking about
it earlier this week. So it was cool to hear a song from it! :D
When the show was over, he stopped by to tell me about the horrors of the
nonworking cd machine. :P I offered some sympathy. Some.
