Right, so um, a quick review of yesterday and today.
Yesterday kelly charlie jen and i went shopping!!!! First we went to the fabric store! Such ferret shock! I bought some black fabric and a hawaiin print to make tank tops for myself. The black fur I bought for gregs ears was so soft!!! And really cheap! So I bought a good amount of it! :D
Kelly bought some black fabric and a pattern for me to make pj bottoms for her. Jenn got somne purple fabric for me to make a skirt for her. I am going to use some of the extra fur to make a skirt for kelly too. My clothes is on the bottom of my list for things to do.
Then we went to the mall. I got two tank tops, undies, and zim flip flips. My zim shoes look like they came right out of an episode! They're huge and blocky and all angular!! They're so cool! And of course, they were on clearance, so life is good!
We had lunch at Bennigans. I had the Southwestern Sampler. Yes, I went to an irish restuarant for mexican. But it was yummy. So there!
Target was our next stop. Despite being broke, I bought a pirate shirt and boots. Yes, melissa has boots now. They go up to my knee. They have heels. When I'm not careful what I wear with them, they do not look tasteful. But they were cheep and silly and so much fun! I think I'm going to wear them to the mourning glory ball.
When I got back, I was just in time for Inu Yasha! As I was typing to greg about the cuteness of the wolf boy I realized he was watching it too! Of his own free will! He hates anime! As you can see, i was very shocked, but it was still pretty cool!! And the episode was fun! (Well, except for the obsession with the evil ladies chest.)
After that, Shatner's strange movie thing was on. I think the movie was called Shrunken Heads. Ithurt. But the thing at the end hurt more. Let's just say the monster bartender wanted to be more than friends with "Bill"... It was so bad that even greg quit! He gave up after the first 3rd of the movie!!! Quitter!!!!!
It was pretty late afterwards, but I decided to start making greg's ears after the movie. I got my machine out, cut the fabric, and was all set to bring it into the lounge, when chris invited me to help drag him kicking and screaming to watch anime. Which I did. But I brought my sewing with me, so all was good!
We watched a bit of Sorcerer Hunters, Elf Princess Rane, and a bunch of other stuff. I just want everyone to know that Rane is on CRACK!!!
Lines like "A taxi runs in my tummy delivering sheets with that look."
Or how about when Go and Rane are battling to find the treasure/hearts when they suddenly stop and Go asks, Do you want to go home for noodles? They then run happily down the hill singing "We're going home for noodles! We're going home for noodles!"
Ar maybe the tag line, "Gotcha Bagoose!"
Oh the pain...There were cthulhu refernces and transformers refernces and even wallace and grommit at one point!!! The guy who said this all (a scary guy with amazing anime hair) even names off b5 characters!!!
This season was killed after the second ep. So um, I guess I'll never find out what happens. *sigh*
Eventually I wandered home to bed. Sleep was nice......
Only to start Sunday!!!!
I woke up around 11:30 and finished up the basic shape of the ears. I also stuffed them. Met greg at the uc, got lunch, and went back to his place. I finished off the ears! :D Hope he liked them! I'd never made wolf ears before and was prtty much designing them off the top of my head.
While I was there, it started to POUR!!!! But we had to go back to my room to meet up with Charlie and Kelly for dinner. So we went out in the rain. Umbrelllas never work when one person is considerable taller than the other. I got kinda wet. Plus the ground stole my shoes. I had to take them off and walk barefoot!
The roads flooded. Freshmen were swimming in it...ewwww..... And one guys shorts were see through when they got wet. *shudders*
Charlie had invited everyone over for dinner. While he was cooking, I played chess with greg. Do I even have to mention that I beat him? :D I like playng chess with him. It's challenging up to te point where I whipe out all his main peiices, then it's jsut fun cause i win! :D
Dinner was full of foody goodness. And there was desserty goodness too! I like fun stuff liek that! There were so many people! Yay! Roze and scott and charlie and kelly and greg and me! Wheeee!
But now I'm home and I should be studying...Perhaps I'll go do that!
