Riiiight. I'm reminded why I hate the news.

Add onto thta my mom insisting I come home because terrorists are going to blow up mardi gras and my day is just perfect. *grumble*

All this terror stuff is bullshit. As far as I'm concerned, it's all a republican conspiracy and has nothing to do with anything but oil and egos, and making us look like assholes to the rest of the world. Scratch that -- most of us *are* assholes when it comes to the rest of the world.

It's days like this when I really despise this country and seriously think about putting my Irish dual citizenship to good use.

I found out today that our local paper refuses to write on peace marches because they don't deem that news. Grrrrr.....

That's my opinion as well. However, I live with someone who goes nuts over the 'war' everyonce in awhile. The extent of this 'war' is a stroke of egos, because Junior listens to Daddy. Gotta love Freedom of SPEECH!

Why would terrorists blow up Mardi Gras? All of the most useless, irresponsible, obnoxious people in the country go there. Destroying the "Girls Gone Wild" crew would be a service. The clean-up would be about the same as any other year, I imagine.
