And so my story hits dialogue. I hate writing dialogue. I'm not good at it. It's a struggle to get it all to flow properly.

*sigh* I guess practice is the only way to master it anyway...

I have the same problem with my writing. A good idea would be to audio record some regular conversations then copy them down, just to get a good idea of how people speak in a normal state.

That's a good idea. I usually try to listen to other people talking to get the idea. But I've never thought to record it. So by the time I get to writing, I can't seem to figure how natural conversation goes...
