Feb. 13th, 2003 05:25 pmToday is beautiful!
I stayed up really late writing my essay. But that's ok, cause today is beautiful. Medieval europe was boring as usual, but got other classes work done during that class so all was good.
Handed my essay in media. Also, the prof actually knows my name. Very strange. Doesn't happen very often. She was in a very good mood today. She just got word that her book is going to be published, so she's very excited. Go her!
In japanese, sensei gave us chocolate. Very yummy. Free candy always makes me happy. Oh, and we learned a song! (To the tune of Mary Had A Little Lamb.)
u tsu ru te
su shi te
ku i te
gu i de
u tsu ru te
su shi te
bu mu nu n de
After class, went looking for kanji card flippie things. Couldn't find any. Wandered forever. Where are they hiding!?
Eventually gave up and came home for lunch. Then went to meet Yuko for our weekly meeting. I brought pictures to show her from home. My graduation and my family and stuff. I had to explain to her what her teacher meant by the phrase "If you're looking for drugs, ask a child." It was strange.
Need to work on my Camp presentation soon. Bah! At least the beautiful weather is no longer a distraction. It's getting dark and chilly!

Date: 2003-02-14 01:13 pm (UTC)If the dictionary form of the verb ends in u, tsu, or ru then you change it to te. Su becomes shi te. Ku becomes i te. Gu is i de. Bu, mu, and nu become n de.
