Friday and Saturday

Anyway, I have returned! Thanks to the terrible shift of doom!
Friday and Saturday are a massive blur of parades. I do remember a few that stood out though. Like Tucks. That parade, in my book, wins for best of mardi gras. Why, you ask? DUCK BEADS!!!!

The cool part was that they were thrown just to me! I felt so special! :) And I got tons of other beads from that parade too. It was spiffy.
Tucks is the potty parade.

The other cool parade was Endymion, which we had to go into the quarter to see. But it was worth the effort, I think, since it was so shiny.

If I wasn't so tired, I probably would be able to identify the parades of the following pics, but for the life of me I can't remember.

And then I've got some pics of friends, cause they rock. :)

Oh, and one of the coolest things I did was make a king cake with
zorikin. Can you imagine my shock when I discovered that a king cake is actually a bread!? But it came out good! It was so yummy! And looked right and everything! I was so happy! :)
