Sailor Soldier of Love and Justice

Had my assessment yesterday. Got a raise. Also told them I plan on leaving in a few months. Learned that knitting is inappropriate. Was told I look like I'm thinking too much in meetings. Was told I don't use phones. (It's true, I don't. I hate interrupting people.) And was told I multi-task too much. (Part of being perpetually nervous, I feel the need to do many things at once. It's a really bad habit that I can't seem to break.)

I was so nervous during the whole thing, I nearly threw up. That would have looked bad. Instead I cried in the car when work was over.

After work, ben and I went to the comic book store. I got all the comics I wanted. I liked Gargoyles. Civil War was eh. Fables was both surprising and predictable and they all lived happily ever after. (Pinocchio is a drunk, by the way.) And not sure about Eternals yet since I'm not familiar with this group of superheros. It is very neil gaiman-style writing though, which is always pleasant to read.

Then we went to pick up veggies. REAL lettuce this week. I bought a tomato later to celebrate the occasion. We didn't take any radishes this week. We haven't touched the radishes from the last two weeks. Broccoli and cauliflower were both small. Thinking of steaming them together with some herbs.

After that we went to the food store where I bought the tomato, as well as a lot of dog food and a 10lb bag of rice.

Oh, and it looks like it's time for work. Guess I'll finish the rest later.
