Last night we had a bight storm. It was just arriving as we were leaving the food store - no rain yet but the skies were flashing nearly as bright as day. It was both scary and impressive.

We saw a "three woah" flash of lightning while driving home. I saw it hit the ground and I went, "Woah!...Woah!!... WOAH!!!" before it finally stopped. Even then, the flash had lasted so long that the image was burned into my eyes for a few more seconds.

I am unaccustomed to storms like these. They're so disturbing.
So after getting home from shopping and veggies and comics, I had to of course read my comics. I already told you what I thought of them, so I won't be repetitive. Ben read a few of them too, which makes me happy because I like to share my hobbies with him.

Then ben's dad called. He was finally settled into his hotel and wanted to come over and say hi. So I had to vacuum the apartment at the speed of light. I did a poor job of it, but still managed to completely fill the vacuum. Ewww, so gross.

Ben's dad got here not too soon after I finished. My dog was a pest and demanded that he and his wife pet her the whole time. Silly spoiled dog.

They brought us fancy maple syrup. Real maple, not maple flavored. I hope it tastes good.

After that we went down to town center for dinner. We were going to walk, but my apartment's evil parking rules made it easier to drive.

We had dinner at uno's. Ben's dad paid. We should take them out to eat later and pay for them. I wish there were better places to eat around here.

On the way home we could see really bright lightning in the distance. By midnight the lightning was right on top of us. It was bright and loud and made the whole apartment shake. I was terrified. I made ben come to bed to protect me. I'm glad we didn't lose power or anything.
