Sailor Soldier of Love and Justice

Yesterday was considerably less awful than the previous two days. But I was bad and slacked off at work most of the day. I did everything I was asked to do specifically, but not more than that. I was able to avoid the evil doctor that way.

After work I was harassed by evil virginia drivers. I went to go into the right lane, where there was plenty of room, so I put on my turn signal. Suddenly the guy in the right lane sped up into the clear space I was already halfway in. Plus the guys behind him were trying to block me too. I really really hate the "me first" attitude in this area.

Then as I was picking up ben, there was a car accident right in front of me. I'm glad I leave a lot of room for the car in front of me, or else I would have been part of that accident. Some guy tried to cross at an intersection without taking into account the cars going the other way. Smashed head on into the person in front of me.

I had planned on having ben drive me to the farm pickup, but after that I was a bit nervous. Maybe next week.

We picked up our veggies. I am pleased that they are becoming recognizable now. Fewer leaves and more real food. Didn't get a lot of lavender though. There wasn't much to begin with. Only got a handful.

The evening was full of being lazy and watching doctor who. We watched the 9th doctor. I absolutely HATE how that one ends. It's so.... un-doctor-like. I was unimpressed by much of the season. It started out ok, but got weird once the doctor and rose started to fall in love. I hate romance. I liked doctor who because there was little to no romance. Bah.

It started to get late so I went to bed watching gargoyles until I was too tired to stay awake. The second season arrived in the mail today, so I'm trying to finish up the first.

I feel very tired this morning thanks to very busy dreams. I was running a my little pony/gargoyles convention. It was just one disaster after another that I had to fix before the fans found out. And there was never a moment's peace. Every time I was finally alone with ben, someone who come bother me and tell me something was exploding and I'd have o rush off, leaving my poor boy all alone.

So that dream combined with my dislike of work made me really want to stay in bed longer. But I had to take ben to work. At least it's friday. I'll have the whole weekend to feel better. Just need to make it through today.
