Dec. 22nd, 2007 03:24 pmI'm trying to figure out what to do about my bird when I go home for xmas. It's a lose-lose situation for her no matter what I choose.
If I leave her at home, she will be warm and safe for the week, but completely alone. She's an extremely social bird and doesn't take being alone very well.
If I take her with me, she has to sit in a car for many long hours with the universe flashing passed her at highway speeds. Even if I cover up her cage, she'll still have the problem of exposure to differing temperatures as she goes outside, in the car, and outside again before going into my parent's house.
Really neither choice is good for her. I don't know what to do. :(
