I finally broke 60 sit ups! Woo!

I had been stuck in the 50 range for a while now, but today I did a very respectable 63. Those last 3 were pretty tough though.

My goal is 200, so I can't celebrate too much. I have a long long way to go.

I mostly do crunch type ab work, so I was curious myself to see how many sit ups I could do. I got to 24 before I gave up.

Sit-ups actually aren't that great for you. They put a lot of strain on your back, and anything that jerks your muscles around in the same repetitive motion is very likely to give you a nasty injury. It's better to do a variety of slow and controlled ab exercises, which is why yoga is so great. Just sayin'.
