Last night I bought ben greasy hamburgers for dinner because he had a bad day at work. We got them from five guys cause ben loves their french fries. In fact, ben made sure to mention how much he liked the fries several times. It was cute.

After dinner I practiced my calligraphy and spilled most of my ink on the table. I was frustrated and didn't want to go to calligraphy night after that, but ben made me. Once I was there it wasn't so bad. Everyone kept complimented me on how fast I was learning. I practiced on real paper this time, writing real words. (Some art supply magazine's seal of quality thingie.) They also solved my ink-spilling problem by placing the jar on my right side rather than my left.

Driving home, I listened to the utena movie soundtrack that [livejournal.com profile] scortia gave me. That soundtrack is the perfect background music for driving down long dark roads. (Though very intimidating when it started to play this morning.)

Ben was happy to see me when I got home, which made me happy. I walked then dog and then we went to bed because I was very very tired. I fell asleep in ben's arms very content and happy. I dreamed that I was graduating elementary school and my diploma had a big happy face on it because I was the top of the class.

My dog savagely attacked us this morning because she was soooo hungry and we were still in bed and couldn't we see that she was going to die if she didn't eat soon!? Ben kept getting grossed out because noname kept smearing her eyes on him. He had to get up soon after that to wash his hands. Which meant I had to get up and feed her. Fat little dog.

I'm at work now and I don't really want to do anything. But I guess I should. That's what they're paying me for anyway.

Ben and I finally got new wipers for my car. Yay for seeing in the rain. We also went to the comic book store, where I spent far too much on comics. However, in my defense, I hadn't been there for several months, so there were a lot of back issues to pick up. Oh, and we bought frozen pumpkin pie, which is now in the oven. It will be for after our fancy fancy dinner that I endured so much to obtain.

I went to Five Guys, which is a burger place around here, and the old guy who took my order informed me that I was very pretty. Then he asked if I wanted to dance. Having been asked the same question a billion times before by ben's friend [livejournal.com profile] liamtheruiner, I was actually not horribly confused. So I told the guy that I didn't want to dance, but I did want to order burgers. I was pleased by my ability to not be horribly horribly embarrassed.

So now I have greasy greasy burgers, which I shall regret eating. I am convinced that I am getting fat, so I really should be focusing on healthier foods.
Driving passed all the food restaurants in Herndon appears to be too much of a temptation for ben. Last evening, we stopped at a stoplight in front of Five Guys, which is a burger place. Ben spontaneously decided we must try it out.

The burgers were so huge. Now I know why they were so expensive. There were two layers of meat on the things. Faaar too much for me. And oh my god the fries. We will never run out of fries. Ever. Despite that, I don't think ben was full. As I was eating my burger, he was looking at it a bit. I asked if he wanted it, and he quickly took it away. :P Silly boy.

It's ok though. I was full. And sleepy. And sick. I sorta napped on the couch a bit.

Ben woke me up to tell me he was going to bed early. He must have been really tired. I had to walk my dog first, and then was too awake. But I tried to sleep anyway. That meant at midnight I was up and about and couldn't sleep at all.

I had a snack and a drink and played with the internet a bit and finally slept. But then had a nightmare about getting lost in a bad part of town. It made me sad but ben hugged me and cheered me up and told me he would protect me and good stuff like that.

After I took him to work, I walked my dog. The stupid animal tried to chase a squirrel, but the squirrel ran around the other side of the tree. Didn't climb it or anything, just went around the other side. My dog had no clue where it was and was going insane barking at the tree.

Eventually she saw the squirrel, and it ran up the tree. Poor stupid noname.
