Holiday Pictures!

Dec. 27th, 2007 01:22 amMy dog is cuddling me very intensely. I think she missed me today.
We got into the city around 2ish and drove around for an hour looking for parking. We took my car so I spent that entire gasping and screaming as cabs came too close to my car and children kicked it. I was not happy.
Once a parking garage was found, we went to look at the tree. It was very large. While we were looking at it, a guy gave us all "free" hats and then asked for $10 each. We gave him back his hats.
Near the tree was a large pond full of pennies. It was for some sort of charity thing. I wonder how they keep people from reaching down and grabbing a handful.

Dec. 7th, 2007 03:35 pmLast night I cleaned the bathroom. My hands still burn from all the bleach, but that thing is sanitized now from top to bottom. All I have left is to clean the kitchen and my computer table.
During my dinner break, ben watched Olive, the Other Reindeer with me. It's one of the few modern christmas specials that I like.
Today has gone unbelievably slow. How can it go this slow?
Also, I may get diabetes from all this candy the vendors keep sending us. There are FIVE varieties of hershey kisses at my desk.
Tonight is the company holiday party. I don't really want to go but I feel like I should. Maybe ben and I can find a quiet corner and play video games? :P Probably not....

Apr. 11th, 2007 09:54 amI tried to finish cleaning the bathroom last night, but the ring around the bathtub discouraged me. Tonight I'll try bad smelling chemicals.
Ben is going to help me clean the living room tonight too. Then tomorrow I'll do the sewing room. Friday night will be the kitchen and the bedroom.
It was so much easier to clean when I was using it to distract myself! Now that ben comes home at a normal time again, I just want to sit on the couch and cuddle. Not clean!

Mar. 19th, 2007 10:12 amThe kitchen is still not clean. I still need to clean the oven, microwave, and one of the counters. Then I need to sweep and mop the floors. I also want to organize the baking cabinet and the tubberware cabinet. And there's about one more sinkful of dishes left. Oh, and there's that bucket of laundry that needs to be folded.
I probably won't finish any of that tonight because I have a dentist appointment later in the evening. But hopefully I'll have it all done by Tuesday. Then I want to finish up the bathroom. Now that I have a mop, I can finish that quick. (I didn't want to clean that floor on my hands and knees.)
I think after the kitchen and the bathroom, I'll start the bedroom. That one is going to take a while though, because there is so much clothes to wash. So maybe I'll also work on the hallway closet at the same time until the clothes is all out of the way. (And this is where ben butts in and says, "Are.")
I am never letting my apartment get this filthy ever again. Or at least if it does happen again, I'm paying someone else to clean it!
