My lip keeps splitting open, which is rather painful.

Tonight we celebrated easter. Cause my mom is insane.

We dyed eggs first. I made some really neat effects by gradually cracking the shells between colors. When I peeled them to eat, they looked extra cool.

Then we had a big easter dinner complete with a huge ham. My parents are going to be eating ham for a month because I don't eat ham and my brother is leaving tomorrow.

I forgot to mention that I beat The World Ends With You yesterday. I was having an impossibly hard time with the boss, even on easy, so I called ben for advice. He told me to take a break, go to the bathroom, and try again. I did so and beat the boss on my very first try.

Now I'm playing through again cause there's a whole different mode to the game which gives you certain goals to complete each day in addition to the regular game goals. I'm going to try to beat it this way now.

I kinda want to go to bed now, but I wanted to call ben before I went to sleep. I think he's napping. I don't know when he'll wake up, so if he'll decide to sleep until morning. I want to hear his voice just for a little bit. :(
Last weekend for easter I colored eggs. Even though the dye was pretty awful, I think the eggs still came out pretty decent.

Afterwards, I gave noname her egg. It was an adventure for her!

And then the day after easter, I went to the store and bought a discount "The Dog" easter basket. I bought it cause I wanted the cute plushie, but noname had other plans.

Yesterday was spent being lazy and watching tv. First was Man of the Year. It was just eh. Good idea, bad execution was what the critics all said at the time. I'd have to agree.

After that was Doctor Who. City of Death, written by Douglas Adams! I was entertained by it, even if ben was falling asleep. While I watched, I knitted! Go productivity!

The day was mostly good except for a few bits in the evening. I'm a little annoyed with ben getting too absorbed into video games again. It was his turn to make dinner and he completely forgot, even after I reminded him. He didn't realize how late it was until I was set to go to bed without dinner. Then he didn't come to bed until 4:30! It makes me feel like he doesn't want me around anymore. :( Even though he says that isn't the case, my feelings are still hurt. I hope he finishes his game soon so he can come back to reality and back to me.

Also, can someone explain easter ham to me? Jesus was jewish! He'd never touch the stuff!
This morning while walking my dog, I noticed a squirrel trying very hard to carry something round and orange up a tree. I thought maybe it was an orange, but couldn't figure out where it would get it. My dog saw the squirrel then and chased after it, forcing the poor thing to drop its treat. As the orange thing fell, I saw it wasn't an orange after all. It was an easter egg! Then as I looked around I saw that there were at least 5 or 6 easter eggs in the area, stuck in trees and next to rocks and stuff. I guess someone hid them outside for their kids. Good thing my dog stopped that squirrel from stealing one.

Everything is closed today for Easter. Probably for fear of zombies. It's like the entire state shut down. So weird! I don't know what to do today. I guess finish up my book.

The new usb cord solved all my printing woes at least. That was probably why my other printer didn't work either. Bah. Well, this new printer is much better than my old one. I still need to get rid of my old printer. Maybe post it on craigslist or something. I don't know if it works though, so I'm not sure I can sell it. Even if the cable was the problem, ben had such a frustrating time getting drivers and stuff for my printer. (Yay old technology.) Maybe I'll just give it away to anyone who can pick it up.
